Just when we thought there would be no more movie delays due to the pandemic, comes Warner Bros. to announce that almost all the great productions of DC they had carried their premiere from this year to the next. Among them we have projects like The Flash, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Black Adam and a few more.
Here is a list of the movies that were delayed:
– Aquaman 2 will now be released March 17, 2023
– The Flash will now be released June 23, 2023
– Black Adam will now be released October 21, 2022
– Super Pets will now be released July 29, 2022
– Shazam and the Fury of the Gods will now be released December 12, 2022
The only film that was released early was the sequel to Shazamwhich was previously going to be released until the middle of next year, but if everything goes well, now we can enjoy it at the end of this 2022.
In accordance with Warner Bros., this change is due to COVID-19, which is affecting the post-production of all these feature films. Obviously, this does not mean that these new dates are already the definitive ones, since everything could change between today and their respective premiere days.
Publisher’s note: Well, the truth is that I no longer expected that there would be more delays, but here we are. The good thing is that this year is still full of important movies, and The Batman certainly helped fill that gap we had to see something from DC on the big screen.
