Nexon released a new trailer for The First Descendant which, in fact, represents the announcement of an announcement, in this case concerning the exit date which will apparently be revealed on June 7th, therefore in the next few days.
For the occasion, the publisher has published a presentation video that shows some cutscenes and gameplay, giving the opportunity to see some other glimpses of this interesting and adrenaline-filled third-person shooter with a pseudo-science fiction setting.
After seeing the video diary dedicated to the story a few days ago, in this case let’s take a look at some new moments of the game, mixing narrative elements with others purely linked to the action.
An action shooter with RPG elements
The First Descendant is a action RPG in the form of a third-person shooter which will be distributed as free-to-play by Nexon, with a date that will be revealed on June 7th.
In this title, players are asked to take part in teams of up to four characters and take on different missions.
Beyond the gameplay which seems to be particularly fast and dynamic, The First Descendant should also offer a system of evolution and customization of the various fighters with elements that bring it somewhat closer to the role-playing tradition, so to speak.
Each character can be equipped with three different firearms, various secondary weapons and 4 extra objects capable of providing different useful skills to apply on the battlefield and capable of significantly varying the gameplay.
Other than that, an extended progression system allows you to unlock new skills through various skill trees capable of offering different specializations, further customizing the fighters between different attack, defense and movement capabilities.
After the trailer from The Game Awards 2023 which revealed the release period, we are therefore almost ready to know the official release date of The First Descendant.
