The first group of 190 undocumented Venezuelans deported by the US government arrived on Monday night from Texas. They landed on two airlines of the national airline and were received as heroes by the Minister of the Interior of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello.
The flights, which left the Fort Bliss in Texas, and that had been previously announced by the White House and confirmed by the Chavista regime, were personally supervised by President Donald Trump’s special envoy, Richard Grenelll, who met by surprise Days with Maduro. The objective of that meeting was to close an agreement for the transfer of undocumented nationals to Venezuela -among them members of the Aragua Train Criminal band -as well as the release of six Americans detained by the Chavista regime, which returned on the plane of Grenell. After this meeting, Venezuela again allowed the entry of US planes with deported immigrants, something that already did in October 2023 but was suspended in February 2024.
This Monday, from the track of the Maiquetía International Airport, 30 kilometers from Caracas, Cabello greeted several of those deported, but avoided giving details about their identities. “You have to see the condition in which they are coming (…) The first thing they did was sing the national anthem in a sample of feeling already in their country, feeling in their homeland,” said Venezuela’s Minister before the press.
Cabello explained that this initiative is because there is now an “open and direct dialogue” of the Maduro government with Trump’s. And he said that in Venezuela “they will never have a bad gesture,” but will respect them and their rights.
The wives were removed
Some of the deportees carried wives, which were removed before getting out of the aircraft where they were waiting for a corridor with hundreds of police and military, according to AFP.
Given the announcements that among those expelled there were alleged criminals, Cabello announced that all would be subjected to reviews. «From here they go to migration and will go through a personal check -up, and the review of those cases in which there is some type of criminal record will be reviewed directly. It is our responsibility that this process comes out as it should leave, ”said the official who has been indicated as an alleged collusion with this criminal group.
The Venezuelan government, in its previous statement, denounced “a false and malicious narrative” regarding the Aragua train that would be used to “penalize all Venezuelan migrants and stigmatize our country. Most migrants are decent and workers, ”said Maduro’s regime.

The Aragua train has become one of the target objectives Trump. As soon as returning to the White House, the president described the criminal gang as a terrorist group; And a few days later one of his leaders, Rafael Gámez ‘El Turko’, alleged intellectual author of the murder in Chile of the extendent Venezuelan Ronald Ojeda, was arrested in American territory. Gámez would lead the pirates, a faction of the Aragua train.

The transnational group operates in several countries in Latin America and has long arrived in the United States itself, the president of the United States has accused Maduro of being behind this band. Meanwhile, in Chile, where the murder of Ojeda is investigated, a witness has pointed to Diosdado Cabello as the person who ordered the death of the exhaustion.
In recent days there have been raids and arrests of several of its members in Peru, where the authorities have assured that the band has been disjointed, as well as in Colombia.
