A van burned this Thursday afternoon in a field in Lorca located on the Marín road, near the National Police station. The fire, which affected three vehicles, caused a column of black smoke that caused alarm in the area.
Around 4 p.m., more than a dozen calls alerted the 112 Emergency Coordination Center of the fire. Members of the Municipal Civil Protection Service and Local Police of the Lorca City Council and firefighters from the Fire Extinction and Rescue Consortium of the Region of Murcia were brought to the scene. Before 4:30 p.m., firefighters declared the fire under control.
