The Federation of Sevilla Supporters Clubs announced on October 17 that Sevilla FC had decided to unilaterally break relations with this institution. The club denied it, but this body maintains that the ties that unite both organizations have been broken. For all these reasons, the Federation of Clubs called an extraordinary assembly to agree on what measures they should adopt in this situation and as a result of this they published a statement this Saturday through which they announced what decisions they have taken.
The statement maintains the belligerent tone with the board of directors chaired by Del Nido Carrasco and communicate the following:
«The Peñas Sevillistas, which make up the Federation of Peñas Sevillistas “San Fernando”, met in an Extraordinary General Assembly last Wednesday, October 23, agreed without any vote against the following points:
– Express their rejection of the actions undertaken by the Club aimed at bypassing the Organization that officially represents the Clubs. This is considered a direct attack against the Institution that represents them and that allows the independence and autonomy of the supporters club to be safeguarded in times like these, of economic waste and mismanagement in the governance of the Club. Therefore, it is agreed not to accept offers from the Club, except through the Federation of Sevillistas Clubs “San Fernando”.
– Inform Aficiones Unidas (an organization that encompasses the Federations of Supporters Clubs of Spain) and, through it, the LFP, of the current situation, given that La Liga advocates for an Agreement between Clubs and Federations of Supporters Clubs that serve as a linking tool with the supporters club members. More than four years ago, in March 2020, the FPS sent the Club a draft Agreement on which there were several SFC/FPS work meetings in which the Club permanently changed its interlocutors, preventing its development and without until the moment has therefore shown no interest in subscribing to it.
– The authoritarian and retaliatory measures unilaterally adopted by the Club are unanimously rejected and will be publicly denounced and duly answered as long as this situation persists, while the commitment to unity of the Clubs and, in turn, of these with the Club is reaffirmed. grassroots Sevillismo and its different associations and representative groups, to keep active the mobilizations against the management of the current Board of Directors, which has plunged the club into an institutional, economic and social situation of rampant and very worrying crisis, to which Added to this is more than mediocre sports management.
– Finally, it is agreed to maintain the schedule of meetings planned with the Club’s largest shareholders to try to make them aware of the seriousness of the situation and adopt the necessary measures to redirect the disastrous drift to which Sevilla FC is being led by its current leaders. The associated Clubs within the Federation of Sevillista Clubs “San Fernando” will continue to work tirelessly only for and for the good of our Sevilla FC. Shield, flag and fans!
