Dean José Antonio Molina assures that the act did not have any permission nor had authorization been given to spread its logo
After the controversy that arose this Monday after the former leader of Vox Macarena Olona announced her participation in a conference that was scheduled for this Friday in the hemicycle of the Faculty of Letters of the UMU, the location of the event has changed.
Olona has been announcing for days that the University of Murcia would be the venue for his next public event, after the boycott attempt suffered last week in the Granada university center and after several days of news due to the exchange of messages with his former party.
In fact, she herself had shared a poster on social networks announcing a conference organized by the Spanish Institute for Political Studies at the Faculty of Arts on the Murcia campus.
However, the Faculty issued a statement this Monday signed by its dean, José Antonio Molina, assuring that they did not have any reservation request for holding the conference in their hemicycle and they had not given authorization for the dissemination of any act using their Logo.
Following this statement, Olona announced on Tuesday that the conference changes location and will be held in the University Paraninfo, on the Merced Campus, although it makes no mention of the conflict with the Faculty of Arts.
«There will be more capacity», is limited to sharing the one that was Vox’s candidate to the Junta de Andalucía on the conference that he plans to give under the title ‘The defense of rights and freedoms through the TC: the unconstitutionality of the states of alarm’.
In addition, he warned that there are movements on social networks to try to boycott this talk and announced that despite this, he will maintain and hold all the conferences where he is required. “I am Spanish and free,” she proclaims.
