The Elder Scrolls Online will allow the transfer of accounts, saves and progress from the version Google Stadia to the PCnow there is official confirmation from Bethesda, who communicated the possibility with some confidence through an official tweet.
Zenimax Online is therefore also working to try to recover the progress made by players on Google Stadia, which would be inexorably lost following the official closure of the platform, set for January 18, 2023.
There are several teams and publishers who are worrying about this eventuality, such as Ubisoft and Bungie among others, more interested in transporting the communities of players to other platforms in order not to completely disperse them and Zenimax Online was among the most interested, given the presence of the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online.
“We are happy to announce that Stadia players will be able to transfer their ESO accounts to PC, bringing with them all progress, including characters, items, objectives and inventory, but not only”, reads the Zenimax release. and Bethesda, “Since Stadia players actually already play ESO on our PC servers, all friends and guilds will be ready to welcome them as soon as they make the move.”
Further more precise information on the transfer mechanism will then be reported later, likely in the coming months and by January 2023.
