For 11 long years, the dog Blue Bear he lived in the loving home of his human dad. But due to some circumstances, everything changed last week.
The owner of the puppy, unfortunately, lost everything and having nowhere to go and to keep his faithful friend, he took the drastic decision to entrust it to a refuge. All he wanted was to give him one better life.
But when Blue Bear arrived at the facility, he showed up confused. He didn’t understand why his best friend had decided to take him to that place and leave him with those strangers.
He started crying so desperate and then barking at the volunteers. The latter were frightened, but then the man ordered the dog to sit down and made sure to make him understand that he could trust of those people. The director of the refuge said:
I approached him and he immediately rested his head on my waist and let himself be caressed. He was just heartbreaking.
The woman, at that moment, realized that the puppy he was not aggressive. He was just very confused and sad, because he didn’t understand why his owner had left him there.
Danielle, this is the name of the director, promised the man that the dog would not spend the night at the shelter and that he would immediately start looking for a cfoster asa. But Blue was still very sad, dejected and spiritless. He wasn’t with the only family he knew, he didn’t stop crying.
We tried to put Blue Bear in a kennel while we got together to make some phone calls, but it was very sad. So we took him to the office and he rested his head on my lap.
She sat in front of the office door and cried, hoping to see return his dad.
He turned around and literally had tears running down his face. I am not exaggerating, literally tears.
Eventually, Danielle decided to try the social media route. She made one Facebook direct and the calls started coming in within minutes.
Madisona woman who works as a foster volunteer at various shelters, volunteered to take Blue Bear with her.
He brought Blue home and the dog finally started to chill outhe was calmer and also showed some of his sweetness.
We put a pillow on the floor, he put his head on the pillow, Madison and I sat with him, we cuddled him and we stayed together for a while.
The refuge is still in contact with his dad, but the man hasn’t solved his problems yet.
The puppy’s future is still a little uncertain, but he is now loved and he has no more reason to cry.
