Deputy of the Magadan City Duma Alexander Kramarenko, who posed with a gun against the background of the laid out inscription “Chukotka 2021” out of almost two hundred killed geese, was found dead in his office. About it informs REN TV.
Andrei Makarov, senior assistant to the head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the Magadan Region, told the TV channel that all versions of the politician’s death are being considered – from suicide to unlawful actions against the deceased. A check is being carried out on the grounds of a crime under the article of the Criminal Code “Murder”, possible witnesses, eyewitnesses, relatives are being questioned, video surveillance cameras are being studied.
In June, a criminal case was opened due to the high-profile image. Sanctions under the article “Illegal hunting” provide for up to five years in prison. The deputy himself called the picture “photoshop”. The photo was first posted in May in the Siberian hunting community on Instagram, but the post was subsequently deleted. Public users left negative comments under the photo and suggested that “only a stranger could hunt like this.”
Earlier, the court banned State Duma Deputy Valery Rashkin, suspected of killing an elk on an illegal hunt, to hunt, communicate with witnesses and leave the house from 23:00 to 07:00. The deputy did not admit his guilt and promised to appeal the bans. According to the version of the investigation, on the night of October 29, Rashkin, together with his acquaintances, was hunting moose in the Saratov region, without having permission to do so. After killing the animal, they hid the weapon, butchered the carcass and put it in the trunk. The loot was found by employees of the regional hunting committee, who stopped the deputy’s car. On December 2, the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, opened a criminal case against Rashkin under Part 2 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Illegal hunting”).
