Supermassive’s video game will be released this fall for PC via Steam, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
Bandai Namco today shared a new trailer for The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, the latest episode in the horror video game series from Supermassive Entertainment, creators of the recent and interesting The Quarry. The published trailer serves to show some pieces of the history of the adventure, but above all to leave us terrified with the setting chosen for this installment.
In its plot context, the Lonnit Entertainment TV crew receives a mysterious phone call from a man named Granthem Du’Met, who promises to give them a guided tour of a faithful recreation of the castle from the HH Holmes murders. An idea that falls in love with Charlie Lonnit, founder of Lonnit Entertainment, who believes that it could be just what they need to save the program from him.
The Devil in Me will star Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley (Wild Rose) as one of the team members who visits this strange hotel, which soon turns into a death trap devised by its deranged host, Granthem. Du’Met. “Watched, isolated and manipulated like rats in a maze, it soon becomes clear to the team that they are not going to be able to get out of there for good. In fact, they will have to make a series of impossible decisions with whom they will have to live the rest of their lives… if they survive!”
We are thus facing a new video game where it will put the player to the limit, forcing him to be part of the story. In addition, from Bandai Namco they have seen fit to think of the most faithful players of the franchise with the Animatronic collector’s edition. This can be booked together with the standard edition (39.99 euros) from today in the official store at a price of 79.99 euros, and incorporates these attractions:
