Liga MX announced the match schedule for the 2024 Apertura Tournament that will start on July 5. The tournament will have four double dates: Matchday 3, Matchday 8, Matchday 13 and Matchday 16. While the Play-In will remain with dates to be played between November 20 and 24.
The quarterfinals will be played between November 27 and December 1; the semifinals between December 4 and 8; and the finals will be played on December 12, with the first leg, and the second leg on December 15.
If Club Pachuca reaches the final, the first leg will be held on December 26 and the return leg on December 29. This is because the Tuzos will play the Intercontinental Cup from December 12 to 22 after being champion of the Concacaf Champions Cup 2024.
The Blue Machine team will open the tournament on Saturday, July 6 at the Ciudad de los Deportes Stadium against Mazatlán FC and for Date 2 they will visit the Monterrey Football Club.
With a good base of players, the board will seek to shore up the squad Martin Anselmi with some reinforcements in specific areas to try to reach the grand final again.

The Young Classic will take place on Matchday 6 when they host Club América on Saturday, August 31, where they will seek to redeem the defeat in the Clausura 2024 final.
Three dates later, on Matchday 9, they will host Chivas and on Saturday, October 26, on Matchday 14, they will visit the Estadio Olimpico Universitario to face Club Universidad Nacional and close the regular tournament against Tigres UANL on Saturday, November 9.
Between Matchday 4 and 5 there will be a one-month break to compete in the Leagues Cup 2024 against Major League Soccer clubs. There will also be three breaks required by FIFA Date: the first from September 2 to 12, the second from October 7 to 17 and the third from November 11 to 21.
