The new trailer for the film The Raven is finally available in Italian: a first look at what awaits us in theaters, of the remake directed by Rupert Sanders. The film marks the return to the big screen of an icon of gothic cinema, played by Bill Skarsgård (John Wick 4 ) in the role of Eric Draven, protagonist of the original released in 1994 and directed by Alex Proyas. The dark atmosphere and the tragic death of the late Brandon Lee during filming.
The film is based on the graphic novel by James O’Barrwhich tells the story of Eric Draven and his girlfriend Shelly Webster, played today by FKA Twigs, brutally killed by a gang of criminals on Devil’s Night, an event artfully constructed by the underworld. Eric is brought back to life by a supernatural power to avenge Shelly’s death, starting a fierce hunt for their killers. This new version promises to be faithful to the original material, but with a modern touch and a visually updated approach.

In addition to Skarsgård and FKA Twigs, the cast includes actors of the caliber of Danny Huston, Laura Birn, Sami Bouajila and Jordan Bolger. The screenplay was edited by Zach Baylin and Will Schneiderwhile production was handled by Victor Hadida, Molly Hassell, John Jencks, Samuel Hadida and Edward R. Pressman.
The film is arriving on August 28thwhile the release in the United States is scheduled for June 7, 2024, we hope not to receive too many spoilers in the two months that separate the American release from the local one.
