Health notifies 758 cases corresponding to Saturday, a third than the same day of the previous week
The sixth wave of the pandemic continues to subside. This Saturday, 758 Covid infections were registered in the Region of Murcia, which represents a decrease of one third compared to the same day last week, when 2,236 positives were registered.
Of the 758 new cases, 232 correspond to Murcia, 141 to Cartagena, 62 to Lorca, 26 to Molina de Segura, 25 to Alcantarilla, 22 to Totana, 21 to Cieza, 19 to La Unión and Yecla, 16 to San Javier and 15 to Torre Pacheco, Alhama and Mazarrón. The others are distributed by other municipalities.
Despite the favorable evolution of the pandemic, another eight deaths in the Community due to the coronavirus must be regretted. They are five men and three women aged 66, 71.72, 74, 74, 82, 86 and 89 years; four from Health Area I (West Murcia) and four from Area II (Cartagena). The death toll has so far risen to 2,030.
