As we approach May 6, the premiere of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness It gets closer every time. In this way, new information has been released from this tape. On this occasion, the classification that the film will have, and its reasons, have been confirmed.
According to the Motion Picture Association of America, the long-awaited next chapter of the MCU has been rated PG-13. The organization has pointed out that this is due to “intense sequences of violence and action, frightening images and some language”. As we know, this film will have several elements of horror, something that goes hand in hand with the direction of Sam Raimi.
The first Dcotor Strange movie, as well as most of the MCU movies, also received a similar rating. Recall that during the last trailer for this sequel, we got a look at a zombie version of Steven Strange, as well as a scene of Wanda Maximoff covered in blood.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit theaters on May 6, 2022. On related topics, this is the length of the movie. Similarly, an important cameo for this sequel has been leaked.
Editor’s note:
Sam Raimi’s work has always had elements of horror, with the Evil Dead series being the biggest example of this. However, with Marvel, this is usually limited to a couple of scenes that play into the constraints of what can and cannot be shown on film.
