The service has been suspended due to infrastructure works between the San Fernando de Henares and Chamartín stations.
The service of the Civis Cercanías Chamartín-Guadalajara trains has been interrupted until November 6 due to improvement works in the infrastructure between the stations of San Fernando de Henares and Chamartin on the contour road.
According to a publication on the social network ‘X’, Cercanías has reported that the convoys of line C-2 suppressed in this section (San Fernando – Fuente de la Mora – Chamartín) will return to take your usual route at the start of service this Thursday, November 7by the contour route.
The interruption of service occurs after the cut on lines C-2, C-7 and C-8 between the Vicálvaro and Torrejón de Ardoz stations last weekend due to the works that Adif is carrying out on the infrastructure.
Renfe is informing travelers about these cuts and transportation alternatives through signage, public address systems in trains and stations, and through its usual information channels: renfe.com or social networks (@CercaniasMadrid).
As an alternative to this suspended service, Renfe has contracted two special bus services between Torrejón and Vicálvaro with frequencies of between 4 and 10 minutes for the three days without rail service between both stations, to facilitate the mobility of travelers.
