FIAA, the International Bus and Coach Fair, will celebrate its fifteenth edition, organized by IFEMA MADRID, bringing together the latest news from vehicle manufacturers, bodybuilders and auxiliary industry and technology, in an event that will give visibility to the definitive recovery of this industry, after years of slowdown.

In recognition of the R&D effort of the bus and coach industry, FIAA once again delivers its fourth awards Minibus of The Year 2025 and the eighths Sustainable Bus Awardswhich will take place the day before the opening of the Fair, on Monday, October 21, 2024at 7:00 p.m., in a Special Gala that the Hall has scheduled.
It will be a very special Gala for which a unique setting has been chosen, the show auditorium. musical “Malinche”, by Nacho Cano, which begins its third season this September, and will offer a selection of the most recognizable pieces from this spectacular musical.
FIAA 2024, which will be inaugurated on Tuesday, October 22, at 11:00, by the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Oscar Puentewill develop an intense agenda of activities. As usual, it has scheduled a Press Day – toured by a selection of exhibitors, who will present their latest news to the media – and which on this occasion will be divided into two days: the 22nd throughout the day, and the Wednesday, the 23rd, in the morning.

With this meeting, the EMT and CONFEBUS want to highlight the importance of sustainable mobility, promoting dialogue with the bus manufacturing sector and with the rest of the sectors involved in their adaptation to the urban public transportation needs.
In addition, the round table aims to show the latest advances in the city’s public buses (propulsion technology, recharging, on-board technology, means of ticketing and payment, automation sensors…), since needs respond and how they are expected to evolve.
Likewise, the Association of Coach Companies, DIREBUS, has scheduled an event to pay tribute to the Director of FIAA, David Moneo, for his dedication to the bus and coach sector. The event will take place on October 24, at 12:00 p.m., in the Auditorium of Pavilion 8.
Likewise, during the fair a recreation of a Coach Rescue will be carried out, with the help of the company E-RESCUE, (stand 8-B10), where a practical demonstration of a rescue with life-saving seats designed for evacuation will be carried out. to those injured, and that They will have the participation of firefighters and health workers from the Community of Madrid and the Madrid City Council.
