The tour achieved great technical excellence, especially with the start of the competitions from the early morning and the gradation of the competition until the evening stage, during which the races of all categories were concluded. Only 11 contestants are in this category.
Nasser Al Dhaheri, the race supervisor, valued the competition that took place on the breakwater in the capital, stressing that what the contestants presented in the Motosurf Challenge reflects the high value that the competition has reached today, and the spread it is achieving among young athletes.
He said, “We are now witnessing an increase in the percentage of people coming to modern sports in the UAE community, and the Motoserve in particular, a new championship that did not exist nearly two years ago. We are following a better increase in turnout and participants, and we expect it to increase more and double within years, especially since the participation area increases.”
Al Dhaheri stressed that this sport is on its way to making Emirati champions, especially since this round witnessed the presence and participation of eight contestants from the Emirates, and said: There is still a long way to go in this sport for our contestants, and we want to confirm that it is a correct path in making contestants and champions in these categories. Championship, and later access to international and international levels.
It is worth noting that the second round of the tournament witnessed strong participation from the UAE, Kuwait, Canada, Bulgaria, South Africa, Brazil, the Philippines, Egypt, Palestine and Kenya.
