Amazon Mexico confirms that The ads will arrive on Prime Video starting April 11, 2024. From that date there will be limited advertising in your series and movies that you enjoy from the platform.
According to the company, this change will allow them to continue investing in attractive content within Prime Video for all types of audiences.
“Our goal is to have significantly fewer ads than broadcast television” the company shares in its statement.
Now, if you want to enjoy your series and movies without ads on Prime Video, you can do so by paying an additional 50 pesos per month and you can do it in the official website. Just remember that channel and live TV subscriptions will still have ads.
