Thriller final in Forth Worth in the second race of the Indycar 2022 championship, the first on an oval circuit. Scott McLaughlin seemed to be heading for a second win in as many races, but in the final laps he found himself with worn tires (over 50 laps of stints) in the traffic of Colton Herta. The box mate Josef Newgarden took advantage of these two factors to mock his boxmate on the outside, giving the Penske team success number 600 in the history of the team founded by Roger. Only six tenths separated the two drivers at the finish. Complete the podium Marcus Ericsson, below the final classification.
.067 of a second. The finish of the # XPEL375 was THAT CLOSE.
