Mexico.- The Federal Consumer Attorney’s Office (Profeco) announced which were the telecommunications companies that offer their services in Mexico that had the higher number of complaints due to failures in its systems during 2021.
According to the data collected by the federal agency, the companies that had the most complaints from their users were Telcel, AT&T, Megacable, Izzi and TotalPlaysame as in the vast majority managed to reconcile.
In particular, Telcel received 3,108 complaints throughout last year, of which it managed to reconcile a total of 2,677 with its consumers, that is, it reconciled 86% of the disagreements.

While, AT&T received 2 thousand 624 complaints, of which it managed to conciliate 2 thousand 568 of them, that is, it reached good terms in 97% of the cases. While, mega cable registered a total of 2 thousand 106 complaints, of which it reconciled 2 thousand 74, equivalent to 98% of these.
izzyfor its part, registered 2 thousand 1 complaints from its clients, of which it reconciled 97%, that is, 1,939 of the disagreements filed against the service in 2021, and, finally, Total Play had 1,478 complaints, managing to resolve 1,411, a conciliation of 95%.
In the March 2022 edition of the Consumer Magazine of Profecothe agency stated that users who have compulsory contracts with telecommunications companies can cancel or terminate them under certain criteria.

“If the service provider does not respect the adhesion contract, you can file your complaint or complaint with the Profeco Telecommunications Sub-Attorney Office,” suggested the federal agency headed by Richard Sheffield.
