Like any good fighting game these days, Tekken 8 continues to expand regularly and fans can’t wait to get their hands on new characters. The next one will be Lidia Sobieska and now Bandai Namco has released a new one gameplay trailer dedicated precisely to the woman which, we remember, is scheduled for publication during the summer.
The video – which you can find below – was published on the occasion of the Combo Breaker 2024 celebration: it is a large tournament linked to fighting games, certainly an excellent space to show fans new details on the content coming within from Tekken 8.
The video shows Lidia fighting against various characters from Tekken 8. Similarly to Tekken 7, the fighter uses traditional karate, with her combination of short-range punches and kicks that allow her to strike from any angle. To a certain extent, you can see similarities with Kazuya Mishima, as they both base their fighting style on the same form, but Lidia is more traditional and she seems to want to show off less.

Although a new trailer has been released, Bandai Namco has not yet revealed the exact release date for Lidia in Tekken 8. As mentioned, we know that it will arrive during the summer, but this could mean in a month or in three.
However, let’s remember that Lidia won’t be the only new thing coming to Tekken 8 with the summer update. In fact, players will be able to fight in a new arena – the Seaside Resort – as well as use a new photography mode to create incredible photo shots in the midst of battles.
We just have to wait for new details: perhaps during the Summer Game Fest events there will be room for an exact release date for all this content.
