NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg announced the defeat of the alliance if Russia wins in Ukraine
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg admitted that a possible Russian victory in the conflict in Ukraine would be a defeat for the North Atlantic Alliance. This is reported TASS.
According to Stoltenberg, the alliance is not part of the conflict in Ukraine, but its support “plays a key role.” He noted that defeat should not be allowed.
Earlier, the NATO Secretary General, in a conversation with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, promised to “strengthen support for Ukraine as much as necessary.”
On September 30, Zelensky announced that the country was applying for an accelerated entry into NATO. The initiative was supported by Canada, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Croatia, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
