Starfield it will come out up PS5 after the arrival of first expansionShattered Space: this is reported by journalist and leaker Jon Clarke, who often collaborates with Nick Baker since the two host the famous XboxEra podcast together.
As you may remember, last July Microsoft estimated that Starfield would sell 10 million copies on PS5, and apparently that thought remained: Clarke reports that, according to his sources, the Redmond house is preparing to bring the Bethesda title to the Sony console.
When? The release of the Shattered Space expansion should take place during this year, so perhaps the project will be completed before the end of 2024. Not only that: it seems that Microsoft has made further investments in development kits for PS5 in order to support the processing.
A change of strategy?
According to the sources who provided this information to Jon Clarke, Microsoft managers have discussed the pros and cons related to the possible decision to bring Xbox exclusives to other platforms as well, and internally not everyone would be happy with this choice.
The first game to arrive on systems other than Xbox should be the already discussed Hi-Fi RUSH, and according to Clarke this will theoretically happen during the first quarter of this year, with an official announcement that at this point could come from a moment to moment.
