At the Xbox Games Showcase we also had the opportunity to return to see STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl with a gameplay trailerthe new and highly anticipated chapter of the GSC GameWorld series which finally has a release date, set for September 5th and also confirmed at this time, with direct launch in the Game Pass catalog on day one.
The new video for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is all built on gameplay sequences, which show some situations in which it is possible to find oneself within the Area in the new chapter of the series: obviously, it is not a quiet place.
Like its predecessors, the new GSC GameWorld title is also a mix between FPS and role-playing game with survival elements, which leads us to explore the exclusion zone in an alternative reality, having to deal with strange physical phenomena and creatures mutated.
The mysteries of the Zone
The new video is titled “The Time of Opportunities” and focuses on some particular situations we can come across while exploring the Zone.
These are very particular moments, in which some emerge strange phenomena explainable only due to the particular conditions in which the area in question is located.
The release date of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl was announced back in January and has remained that way, after multiple postponements, so it seems certain that the game will arrive on September 5th. In the meantime, the STALKER Legends of the Zone Trilogy collection has also been released which traces the previous chapters in a remastered version.
