Certain Affinity has finalized some details about what is to come to the franchise.
Halo Infinite has not said its last word despite the bad news we are receiving from 343 Industries these days. Entering the scene, however, is Certain Affinity, another Texas-based support studio, which has collaborated on installments of the Halo and Call of Duty franchises since 2007. It appears to be helping the original developers as well, but making an ambitious game mode.
We are doing something unannounced from conception and design. It’s something big and new for the franchiseMax Hoberman, CEO of Certain AffinityCertain Affinity CEO Max Hoberman has spoken at Venture Beat to give slight clues about what this ambitious project is about: “We are doing something unannounced, and we are doing the main development of that unannounced thing, from conception and design. It is something big and new for the franchise. But I can’t say anything else about it.”
“It’s ours bigger project of the three we currently have. We have close to 100 developers working in it,” says Hoberman. What is this all about? Windows Center signaled in January that they might be developing the halo infinite battle royale. In addition, this studio is also working on a co-op inspired by Monster Hunter referring to another of the projects, according to collect VGC.
In April we already reported the incorporation of this veteran study to help 343 Industries. Halo Infinite recently canceled its local co-op, but put date for forge mode. At the moment what has been seen of this future inclusion is quite promising, they recreated the PT corridor and the room from the Toy Story movie to fight in that emblematic place.
