The events were reported at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 31, through the 911 emergency number. Hours after the report, elements of the Municipal Public Security Directorate of Hermosillo moved to the place to help the couple in question.
The entrance of the house located in Privada C, Calle 15 of the Sahuaro Indeco subdivision, was obstructed by the sinkhole at the time the police elements arrived, who chose to break the horseshoe of a window to get the two people out of the house. living place.
One of the rescued people identified himself to the police as Arturo Jiménez Gradeada, 63 years old, who assured that he was in good health, so the presence of Red Cross paramedics was not necessary.
