Culiacán, Sinaloa.- The leadership of the SNTE 53 expresses its total disagreement with the provisions that abolish the Full-Time Schools ProgramTherefore, they call on the State Government to allocate a budget for this program. Through a statement they pointed out to the working base that it is unpredictable to give continuity to this educational policy because it has responded to the principle of equity, a key element in the development of the various processes that take place in schools.
“We urge the State Government to allocate an extraordinary budget for the operation of the Full Time Schools program, budget that should cover the needs of a universe of 194 schools state that are enrolled in this noble program, 16 in preschool, 170 in primary schools and 8 in secondary schools”, they stressed in their statement.

In addition to that they are also asking the State Congress to approve an exhortation to the Chamber of Deputies, to the effect that it reconsider and intervene before the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit to request extraordinary budgetary measures and maintain the program. At the end of the statement they commented that they also issue a point of agreement to request a budget from the state.
