Luis Lira Rivera, police of the State Civil Guard of San Luis Potosí, He was illegally deprived of his liberty by armed individuals. The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) activated a search form to find his whereabouts.
According to local media, the events occurred on the night of Friday, June 14, in the municipality of Rayón, San Luis Potosí, when armed individuals kidnapped Luis Lara.
Unofficially, it was said that after an armed confrontation in San Ciro, the police officer went to Rioverde where he would sign his vacation letter. However, after 7:00 p.m. he stopped answering the phone.
First versions and according to the cameras of the Control, Command, Communications and Computing Center (C4) of Rioverde, a group of men aboard a pick-up truck and an SUV blocked his path and forcibly took him away.

The next morning, the State Persons Search Commission and the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Human Rights SLP published a file reporting his disappearance.
Unofficially, it was said that Luis Lara had been found dead this Saturday morning in the vicinity of the Canoas ejido in this municipality of Rayón.
However, the head of the State Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPCE), José Luis Ruiz Contreras, denied this information.
He highlighted that the intense search tasks continue since the issuance of the search file for Luis Lira Rivera.
“At the moment, the SSPCE rules out that the body of a man corresponding to Luis Lira who was last seen in the Municipality of Rayón has been located. It is reiterated that the version that has circulated on social networks where it was indicated that his body would have been found is FALSE since investigations continue to locate him,” says a statement issued by the SSPCE.
Likewise, the secretary explained that at the time the State Attorney General’s Office would be the one to report on the progress of the investigations through official and institutional channels.
