Skull and Bones it will be playable free for a weekfrom May 30th to June 6th: this is the latest initiative that Ubisoft has decided to undertake in an attempt to relaunch its pirate live service, perhaps because its numbers are worrying.
In fact, compared to the over three million players at launch, Skull and Bones appears to have suffered a substantial declineending up occupying 185th place among the most played titles on PS5: the sensation is that of a sinking boat, to stay on topic.
Considering that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is 184th and Warner Bros. has openly complained about it, it goes without saying that Ubisoft Singapore’s ambitious project has failed to involve users enough to keep their interest alive after its debut.
The free trial will therefore be just one of various promotions aimed at the relaunch of Skull and Bones, see for example the recent discount that he cut the price in half: it happened on the PlayStation Store from May 8th to 17th, and it will certainly happen again.
Meanwhile, Season 2 has begun
A few days ago Season 2 of Skull and Bones started, which introduced new things, among other things ship improvementsthe ability to better manage your fleet, as well as a new merchant from whom you can purchase refineries and resources.
The update also includes new PvP and PvE game modesas well as a series of changes to the balance of free-to-play elements made also and above all on the basis of the feedback provided so far by users.
