Claudia Sheinbaum Pardowho reaffirmed his commitment to fulfill all the promises made during his campaign, stated that He will meet with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador once the counting of the 300 voters has finished.
She said that in the following weeks she will report on the team that will be accompanying her in her cabinet, but recalled that the Secretary of the Treasury, Rogelio Ramírez de la O, will continue in said department.
In a video published on social networks, in his first message after his victory in the presidential elections of June 2ndClaudia Sheinbaum emphasized that the Fourth Transformation did not make promises, but rather commitments that will be fulfilled for the benefit of the people of Mexico.
He stressed that his victory was clear, with more than 30 percentage points of difference over the opposition coalition, which is why he noted that If necessary, all electoral packages that have to be opened will be opened.
“We are sure of the result and that there was a free, peaceful and democratic electionThis has already been certified by all electoral observers, including OAS observers. For this reason, we agree that all the electoral packages that have to be opened be opened, we asked for this in 2006, now that all the packages be opened because we are sure of the result we obtained,” he said.
The former head of Government of Mexico City pointed out that, as she said in different squares throughout the country, she will fulfill all her commitments.
“Because in the Fourth Transformation we do not make promises, we make commitments and the commitments are fulfilled. I am not going to fail you,” he explained.
In addition, Claudia Sheinbaum reported on the timing of the electoral process after her victory.
He explained that the next step is the district count, in which candidates can challenge or request the opening of polls if they consider necessary.
In this sense, Sheinbaum reaffirmed the forcefulness of the results and was in favor of opening all the electoral packages that are necessary, as requested by the 4T movement in 2006.
In parallel, the president-elect announced that she is already working on forming the cabinet that will accompany her in her government.
He assured that he will select honest, hard-working profiles with deep knowledge of their areas, highlighting that Rogelio Ramírez de la O will continue to lead the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP).
“I am working on forming the team with which we are going to govern, our cabinet. Of course, they are honest, hard-working people, knowledgeable about the issues and with a lot of conviction in our project,” Sheinbaum reported, underlining the importance of having a committed and capable team to carry out campaign commitments.
Finally, Sheinbaum announced that he will wait for the conclusion of the district counts before meeting with the current president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, to begin the transition process.
“I will be informing you of the moment in which I am going to meet with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. We are going to wait this time for the district calculations to be carried out and we will be informing. We must always keep the correct times to make this meeting,” he said.
He extended his congratulations to the president for the beginning of the “The clinic is ours” program and stressed the importance of following the correct times for this type of meetings.
