Roosh Ventures, a venture capital fund, has become one of the investors in the new freelance platform Jump. This French startup, founded in 2021 by Maxime Bouchet, Nicolas Fayon, and Thibault Coulon, stands out for its versatility and efficiency, which greatly simplifies freelance work. Entrepreneur and co-founder of investment group Roosh, Sergey Tokarev, shared this news on LinkedIn.
Jump Offer for Freelancers
In its first year, the French startup attracted €4 million in investments and immediately began drawing the attention of freelancers. Today, the platform boasts nearly 2,000 users and has an annual turnover of €150 million.
Jump’s popularity is driven by its ability to make freelancing more flexible and straightforward. Additionally, freelancers on the platform gain access to the same opportunities and benefits as full-time employees in any company, including:
- Corporate savings programs;
- Health insurance;
- Social protection, and more.
“Roosh Ventures has backed this French startup, which is set to be a game changer for freelancers. The platform handles all the complex and tedious tasks like accounting, payroll, and benefits. Freelancers can stay focused on their work without distractions,” wrote Sergey Tokarev.
The platform simplifies processes related to payroll and accounting. Contracts signed through Jump provide freelancers with stable income, access to credit, benefits, and insurance services, along with social guarantees. Additionally, the platform offers tools for daily tasks like activity tracking, virtual card payments, and invoicing for clients.
Jump’s Ambitions and Development
“This is a comprehensive solution for everyone working freelance. Together with Raise Ventures, Index Ventures, Breega, and Roosh Ventures, the platform will expand beyond France, allowing freelancers worldwide to simplify their work and focus on what they do best,” Sergey Tokarev added.
While the exact amount Roosh Ventures invested remains undisclosed, Jump has raised a total of €11 million. The founders plan to use these funds to grow their team and expand the platform’s presence in various European countries.
