Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- The Ministry of Public Education and Culture (SEPyC) of Ahome inaugurated Educational Expo today “Forming knowledge towards the future” in the Plazuela September 27 of the city of Los Mochis.
With this event, which will last until tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., it seeks that people who have not finished high school or wish to enter it, are informed that the SEPyC has the service of open high school through a 22-module curriculum.
The interested party can choose the trajectory, the place and the schedule of studies that best suit them.

“Telling them that there is an educational offer where they could participate, that for external reasons some students cannot continue in a high school, it is a free offer, where they use their time to finish it,” said Alegrando Brito Acuña.
The head of Regional Services of the SEPyC in Ahome, informed that there are 22 modules and in each module there are exams to solve, but if they apply, in four or five months they could have the certificate.
“It’s not just for students who are finishing high school, it’s also for people who already have time who couldn’t finish high school, adults or adults who can also enroll.”
For her part, Gilda Mariot Vidales, state coordinator of open high school, explained that after the age of 15, people can enter open high school.
He said that the open high school is a non-school system in which students study at their own pace, they manage the number of exams they are going to take, which range from one to 4 monthly exams.

“The pandemic cannot stop us, they are not going to school, young people are not going to school, young people are self-taught. I invite you to join, to read and prepare to present yourself, if you want, you can”.
