Millonarios beat Defensa y Justicia well in their debut in the group stage of the Copa Sudamericana, this Tuesday at the El Campín stadium in Bogotá.
After a difficult first half, Millonarios went ahead in the 59th minute. Leonardo Castro scored from a penalty, after the VAR detected a handball by Tomás Cardona inside the visiting area.
After a great pass from Juan Pablo Vargas, Leonardo Castro made a long run to finish off and score Millonarios’ second goal, in the 69th minute.
Three minutes after his brace, Castro set up Mackalister Silva for the Millonarios captain to make it 3-0.
