The company specializing in personality tests Truity Psychometrics released a study in which he analyzes the psychological characteristics of the highest salaries in the United States. The research indicates that extroverted, intuitive and thinking profiles, which presuppose leadership, earn the best rewards.
The study, based on the analysis of 72,300 people, is based on Brigg-Myers theory, which considers the archetypes outlined by psychoanalyst Carl Jung. Thus, there are 16 basic personalities to analyze the behavior of workers and their wages.

The theory considers four aspects:
– extroversion x introspection: describes how a person manages their energy – by interacting with other people or through isolation;
– Sensitivity vs. intuition: describes how a person processes information – concretely and factually or through imagination and inferences;
– thought x feeling: describes how a person makes decisions – based on logic or moral and personal standards;
– Judgment x Perception: describes how a person organizes their life – in a structured and orderly way or in a more spontaneous way.
The profiles that are better paid are: extroverted, intuitive, thinker and judgmental; second are outgoing, sensitive, sentimental, and judgmental personalities.
The outgoing and thoughtful characteristics always figure among the best salaries, but not in all age groups. From the age of 40 onwards, the highest remuneration is for the profile known as “debater”. Ambitious profiles that like challenges and expressing themselves are also related to positions with better financial rewards.
Lastly, there are characteristics of mediating profiles: introspection, intuition, sentimental and perception.
