Salernitana lost against Juventus, the Milan CEO: “Very penalised. Sensational foul on Maggiore's expulsion shortly before, Gatti's expulsion is missing”
“We are satisfied with the performance and Mr. Inzaghi is very angry about some very dubious refereeing episodes. Regarding Maggiore's expulsion there was a sensational foul shortly before, then the expulsion for Gatti is missing. We feel very penalized and we are mortified like the our audience. We will ask for explanations at the right tables”, the words of the CEO of Salernitana, Maurizio Milan after the defeat against Juventus suffered in the comeback (Maggiore took the lead in the 39th minute, then they overturned the Iling-Junior match in the 65th and Vlahovic in the 91st).
“Before Maggiore's foul there was an intervention on Simy which was not sanctioned, then as far as Gatti is concerned there is no expulsion. Not only that, there was also a flawed attitude even in the calls to Costil. Now we have to let the anger and bitterness cool off – continued Maurizio Milan to DAZN -. We'll take our time, it's the first time the coach hasn't shown up to comment.”

Salernitana-Juventus, slow motion by Luca Marelli
In the Dazn studios, the former referee Luca Marelli analyzes the slow-motion episodes of Salernitana-Juventus: “Gatti's episode is very similar to what happened in Monza-Lecce. Rocchi explained to us that in that case Baschirotto had done a similar thing, taking the ball first and then the opponent. The referee of that match, Marinelli, also recalled by the VAR, had sent Baschirotto off. Rocchi told us that the correct decision was yellow and free kick, as happened this evening. In the case of Monza-Lecce Marinelli had not made the correct decision, as was explained to us by the referee designator, since he sent the player off. Maggiore's red, however, is correct: we still don't have the images of the foul prior to the second yellow card you're talking about.”

Juventus, Allegri, 'winning in Salerno was important but they gave us little or nothing'
“Salernitana gave us little or nothing, we had some good trajectories to make but if you lose the moment it becomes difficult. The match was quite good even though we were 1-0, what's not good, and the boys know it, is that you score goals in Frosinone, you score them in the Italian Cup, then today too: it's the repetition of what happened. The perception is that when they throw the ball towards the area we can score goals and we are less confident.” Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri said this to Dazn after the 2-1 victory against Salernitana. “Winning in Salerno was important to maintain the distance from fifth place. We have a fourteen point lead, that's five games, that's already a lot. Now we have the Cup, to reach the semi-final which would be very nice, then we'll think about the next one.”
