Russian biathlete Eduard Latypov won a bronze medal in the 12.5 km pursuit at the Beijing Olympics. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.
The domestic athlete showed the third result, losing to the leader by 35.3 seconds. French biathlete Quentin Fillon Maillet won the race. Silver was won by Tarja Be from Norway.
In the women’s pursuit race, the Russians were left without awards. Norwegian Marte Reiseland became the winner. Elvira Oeberg of Sweden finished second, while Tiril Eckhoff of Norway also finished third.
The Beijing Olympics will run until February 20. Domestic athletes compete at competitions under the auspices of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC).
