On Sakhalin, an investigation into the case of a 33-year-old resident of the village of Nogliki accused of massacring an acquaintance has been completed. He will appear in court soon. About this on Thursday, July 7, informs regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
According to the investigation, in December 2021, the Russian and his 60-year-old friend drank alcohol in a private house. The fun was in full swing when an older man began to insult a younger friend, and later threatened him with physical violence. During the scuffle that began, the defendant hit the opponent in the head with his hand, and later beat him to death with a metal scoop that came under his arm.
The TFR opened a case under Article 111 (“Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. In the criminal case, the prosecutor approved the indictment and sent it to the court for consideration on the merits.
On July 4, it was reported that in the Arkhangelsk region, a Russian beat a friend to death and fell asleep next to him.
