Rostov. On the night of June 6, Ukrainian drones attacked facilities of the Fuel and Energy Complex (FEC) in two regions of Russia. In the Rostov region, a drone hit an oil refinery in Novoshakhtinsk, causing a fire, regional governor Vasily Golubev said. “According to preliminary data, the fire spread to NZNP over an area of 50 square meters. m. About 120 people and 15 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire,” Golubev noted. However, due to repeated drone attacks, it was necessary to stop extinguishing the fire. According to the Shot Telegram channel, the attack occurred at the beginning of the night. Immediately several loud explosions were heard in the city, after which eyewitnesses saw smoke and a column of fire in the refinery area. Later Golubev reported that the fire in the refinery was located on an area of 100 square meters. According to preliminary data there were no casualties in the attack or fire. In turn, in the Belgorod region, a Ukrainian kamikaze drone attacked an oil depot in the region. Stary Oskol, reported the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov. “Following the explosion, one of the tanks caught fire. Four fire brigades quickly put out the fire. The shock wave blew out the windows of the security building. There were no injuries,” Gladkov noted.
