According to the magazine's sources, Kadyrov has advanced pancreatic necrosis, i.e. necrosis resulting from inflammation.
Novaya Gazeta bases its information on anonymous sources at the Central Hospital of the Russian Presidential Administration, as well as sources in the Chechen administration of the Federal Security Service FSB and a Chechen MP by Adam Delimkhanov in the neighborhood.
Since January 2019, Kadyrov has been treated several times at the presidential administration hospital on the western edge of Moscow. He was last reported to have been in the hospital in the intensive care unit last September, when kidney disease was suspected as the cause. The Chechen government and Kadyrov's inner circle denied the claims and staged a PR campaign to prove the leader was in great shape.

Alaudinov is said to have impressed the president and Moscow's elite last December when he gave a speech at the party congress of the ruling United Russia party. The Chechen, born in the Stavropol region, spoke Russian without an accent and did not use the bloodthirsty expressions typical of Kadyrov's inner circle.
Novaya Gazeta engaged in traditional Kremlinology by calculating that Alaudinov, who emphasized traditional values, mentioned the word “God” six times, but the word “Allah” only once: at the end of the speech.
Kadyrov's the staff responded to Novaya Gazeta's new information by publishing Kadyrov On the Telegram channel a four-minute video.
In it, Kadyrov gives a monologue to his government about the importance of opposing the “Nazis and the West” in the war in Ukraine. If the purpose was to show that the leader is in working order, the video failed miserably. Despite cutting the recording, Kadyrov seems already dead.
The video appeared to have disappeared from the channel on Tuesday afternoon.
Russian state news agency Ria Novosti on the other hand, published a short video on his Telegram channel on Monday in which Kadyrov lifts dumbbells. It is not clear from the recording because it was filmed.
