Russia draws up a list of enemy countries, which goes beyond the EU and US

Russia’s government has approved a list of “hostile nations”. According to Russian news agency Interfax, the document has already received approval from Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and is part of a decree by President Vladimir Putin.

The list includes the 27 member states of the European Union, which adopted strong sanctions against Russia after the start of the military offensive in Ukraine, as well as the United States, Japan and Canada.

Also on the enemy list: Australia, Albania, Andorra, Great Britain (including the island of Jersey and other overseas territories such as the island of Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands and Gibraltar), Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, San Marino, North Macedonia, Singapore, Taiwan, Montenegro, Switzerland and Ukraine itself.
