Rosa María Guerrero wins bronze medal in Japan

The winner of the State and Municipal Sports Award last year achieved the mark of 25.88 meters in her fifth throw.only behind competitors Feixa Dong, who won silver for China, as well as Erica María Castaño, who won gold representing Colombia.

At the World Para Athletics Championships held in Paris in July 2023, Guerrero Cázares won gold with a mark of 26.12 meters, leaving Castaño in second place, who in that edition made his best throw in 25.70.

The bronze medal obtained by Rosa María Guerrero in this world championship is added to the two silver medals in discus throw (25.09 meters) and shot put (8.16 meters), obtained in the Parapan American Games, held in Santiago de Chile, in November 2023.
