Restaurants The government has decided to lift restaurant restrictions – The requirements will be lifted in early March

All restrictions on opening and drinking will be lifted from the beginning of March.

Government decided on Thursday to lift restaurant restrictions, as did the coronary ministerial working group on tuesday presented.

The requirements for restaurants, opening hours, customer numbers and seating will be removed from 1 March.

This means, for example, that nightclubs can be open again until midnight, when restaurants must now be closed by 24:00 and drinks will be closed by 11 pm.

Restaurants general hygiene obligations apply in all regions, ie throughout the country, until the end of March.

For example, food businesses must prominently inform those arriving to their customers that a person with symptoms consistent with a coronavirus infection is not allowed to enter the food business.

Also, no heavy crowds should be created, and care should be taken to clean the premises and surfaces. Customers must be able to clean their hands.

Restrictions on feeding movements will be reconsidered if the disease situation changes and the hospital burden increases significantly, the government outlined.
