Renfe is going to double the seats on 15 Cercanías trains between Alicante and Murcia to go to Bando de la Huerta during the day next Tuesday, April 2.
The additional offer will be 6,287 seats on trains on line C-1 between Murcia and Alicante, which represents an increase of 51 percent over the usual offer. In addition, the company is reinforcing commuter services on this line with the programming of five special trains that will run at 10:00 and 12:00 in the morning in the Murcia direction and at 7:45, 8:45 and 11:00 p.m. in the Alicante direction.
The service between Murcia and Cartagena is also reinforced with two special trains leaving from Cartagena to the Murcian capital at 10:00 and 12:30. This represents an increase of more than 700 seats with a global offer for proximity services between Murcia and Cartagena of 4,100 seats, 21 percent more than the usual offer.
In addition to the Cercanías services between Murcia and Alicante, 16 Avant trains, eight in each direction, have been running daily on the high-performance line since December 20, 2022, with intermediate stops in Beniel, Orihuela-Miguel Hernández, Callosa Cox and Elche AV and with an offer of 3,776 seats.
