The story of Renault Koleos it will end in 2023. After two generations, the Losanga SUV will not continue on its way, with the farewell to production within two years. The largest of the SUVs of the French brand, recently subjected to a restyling, seems to be destined to greet the market, with increasingly intense competition in the segment and the will by the transalpine brand to focus on other segments that seems to have put Koleos all ‘angle.
Renault plans to review its range of products, also by virtue of the arrival of 14 new models by 2025. Alongside the 7 electric cars, there will be as many models with different types of power supply. The French carmaker, which is working to optimize production and cut costs, is identifying the least profitable cars. The French brand has already indicated the four models that will leave the market in the course of 2022, with Koleos soon joining these. After the debut at the Beijing Auto Show 2016, the large SUV has not reached the targets set from the point of view of registrations and now Renault would be ready to say goodbye, without a third generation arriving on the road. Koleos was among the first models of the brand to be born on the new CMF C / D platform of the brand, as well as Talisman and Espace with which it shared the front design and the wide habitability. The sale in the United Kingdom was already completed last year, the same fate that it will soon have in Europe as well. Renault Koleos will thus exit production in the summer of 2023, following Talisman, Espace and Scénic by a few months.
