Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- With a investment of 50.6 million pesosthe Government of Sinaloa together with that of the municipality of Ahome launched the Rehabilitation work on the Niños Héroes collector and the La Magisterial rainwater collector.
It was yesterday afternoon, when the governor Rubén Rocha Moya together with Mayor Gerardo Vargas Landeros gave the banner of both works that solved problems of more than 40 years.
In the case of the sanitary collector, it will be a replacement of 754 linear meters where a 48-inch pipe will be placed with an investment of 22.6 million pesos, while in the pluvial one it will be the introduction of new pipe in a section of 1,300 linear meters with a resource of 20 million pesos.
During the event, José Luis Zavala Cabanillas, Secretary of Public Works of the state explained that this work that begins in the Children Heroes consists of the demolition of pavement, stabilization of land, the realization of 48 manholes, giving a modernity to the road , anticipating that a second stage will come on the same street but in the section from Tenochtitlan to Galeana, which is about to be tendered this week.
For his part, Mayor Gerardo Vargas Landeros thanked the state authorities for being at all times aware of the needs of the municipality of Ahome emphasizing this drainage and pluvial work that will solve a serious problem in one of the most important sectors of the city.
He also said that the start of these works is important, since historically a budget of this size had never been exercised so soon after starting the state and municipal administration.
“We are extremely grateful to you that people feel the governor’s hand, that is priceless and we want to help Ahome, Sinaloa reach better standards of living.
We are also going to resolve security issues because by being distracted and not even addressing these problems they have come to life, we are going to address health problems, we are tired of living through a pandemic, this is going to be resolved with this type of work. We already started more than a month ago with the cleaning of canals and drains, the irrigation modules have been key in these works, 65 collectors have already been treated that were down, we have 22 pending but we are sure that little by little we will solve them “.
Finally, the state president referred to the fact that the priority is to solve the problems of daily life, floods, lack of water, electricity, cleaning of sanitary drains, attending schools, that is the priority.
