Rosstat: real wages of Russians in March accelerated growth to 12.9 percent
Real wages in Russia in March accelerated growth to 12.9 percent in annual terms from 10.8 percent in February, writes RIA News with reference to Rosstat data.
As experts pointed out, at the end of the first quarter this figure was 11 percent compared to the same period in 2023. They noted that in March compared to February, the growth of real wages reached 11.4 percent.
In addition, the department revised data on the dynamics of real wages in 2023 in favor of improvement. According to the updated information, they grew not by 7.8 percent, as previously expected, but by 8.2 percent.
The Ministry of Economic Development predicted that wages in real terms in the Russian Federation in 2024 will increase by 6.5 percent.
Earlier it became known that the average salary on the Russian labor market is 73 thousand rubles.
