The Real Racing Club has renewed its footballer Juan Carlos Arana until June 30, 20208. The attacker joined the green and white discipline on August 29, 2023 – on loan from Sociedad Deportiva Eibar, although on May 24 the Cantabrian entity executed the purchase option it had with the gunsmith team to hold 100% of their federative rights. Arana has played 47 games and scored 15 goals with the green and white shirt and after signing his new contract he thanked the trust shown by Manolo Higuera (president) and Sebastián Ceria (advisor and president of the Foundation): “I am very happy, here I have found my place and I am happy. I want to continue progressing and growing hand in hand with this club. “I am convinced that if we continue as we have been until now, all together, we will achieve what we set out to do.”
Juan Carlos Arana was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on February 8, 2000 and trained as a player in the Lower Sections of the Unión Deportiva Las Palmas, Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid and, finally, the Villarreal Club de Fútbol. With the Castellón team, the attacker was proclaimed champion of the Honor Division and the youth Copa del Rey in the 2018/19 season. After that, after passing through Villareal CF’s third team, the Canarian striker joined the Grogueta reserve team, which played in the First Federation, and after two seasons he achieved promotion to LaLiga Hypermotion in the 2021/22 season – in addition, he was their top scorer with 16 goals.
Arana, who is 182 centimeters tall and weighs 73 kilos, had his first experience in professional soccer two seasons ago. The Canarian, who started the campaign with Villareal CF ‘B’, scored two goals in the silver category – one of them on the second day against Racing at the El Sardinero Sports Fields before signing for Sociedad Deportiva Eibar in January 2023.
