In a new video, the leaker Moore's Law is Deadhas shared new details on the mid-gen console while providing some small updates on the system and the upscaler PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution.
According to the leaker, the CPU Zen 2 Of PS5 Pro will be from 4nm, it could be more compact in terms of size and could potentially provide several improvements. Among these the leaker mentions a reduced energy consumption it's a better cost efficiency.
The leaker also reports that the console, given the small size of the CPU, could be smaller compared to the basic model and the Slim version launched last year. Speaking of pricing, Moore's Law is Dead revealed that the system could return about 500 dollarsbut it all depends on Sony.
As already mentioned at the top of the news, the leaker also provided new information on the upscaler PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution which will debut with the PS5 Pro. Reportedly, the PSSR it will not be a fork of the upcoming upscaler AMD FSR 4 and will be fully developed by Sony. We'll see if it turns out to be a better solution than AMD's upscaler.
