An error on the MEC platform is recorded after the release of incorrect grades from Sisu; college students complain on social media
O Single Portal for Access to Higher Education, The Prouni website (University for All Program) went offline on Tuesday afternoon (Dec 6, 2024), the day the list of those approved for scholarships at private educational institutions was published. According to reports on social media, the platform began to experience glitches around 3pm.
The error occurred a few days after the MEC (Ministry of Education) having unduly published provisional results of the Sisu 2024 (Unified Selection System). The failure, on January 30, caused candidates to see the result of passing the course of choice when, in fact, approval had not yet been confirmed.
The site returned to normal operation at night. O Power360 contacted the MEC to understand what the ministry associated the failure with, but did not receive a response until the publication of this text. The space remains open.
On the internet, college students expressed dissatisfaction with the situation.

SISU FAILURE
When the final numbers were released late on the afternoon of January 31, some of the students were surprised to learn that they had not gotten a place.
In X, student Clara Letícia writes that she had “frustrated dream” to pass in law at UFRN (Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte). She was one of the people who accessed the Sisu platform on January 30 and trusted the approval result.
“I lost my place in law at the federal university (UFRN). Thank you for being rubbish Sisu, thank you for the ruined dream! I dreamed of my approval FOR NO WAY. I'm devastated“, declared Clara, along with photos celebrating the result and prints of the incorrect information in the MEC system.
In an official statement about the case, the ministry said that the incident was “rigorously investigated”. He further stated that the system is “safe” and that the official results “are not modified”.
This time, the MEC has not yet commented on the failure on the Prouni website.
