Prince Harry questioned the authorities' decision not to grant him protection, after they ruled that they would study possible security measures on each of the prince's trips.
In late February, the High Court in London ruled that this decision was “not unreasonable.”
A spokesman for the prince indicated on that occasion that Enrique would appeal, considering that he was not “claiming preferential treatment”, but simply a “fair and legal” application of the protection rules.
But the Supreme Court itself rejected this appeal by the prince on Monday and the judge confirmed that the decision had “founded” reasons for not granting him systematic protection.
Anyway, Prince Harry can still go to an appeal court.
The magistrate also sentenced Enrique on Monday to pay 90% of the legal expenses of the Ministry of the Interior in this case.
The February ruling represented the second legal defeat for the prince henry in this battle to maintain safety measures when visiting the UK.
In May last year, the courts had denied him the right to benefit from police protection, despite his intention to pay it with his personal funds.
Prince Harry's last trip to the United Kingdom dates back to a brief visit to London on February 6 to see his father, King Charles III, a day after his father's cancer was announced.
